Every year in October, Mayberry is the place to be for the Autumn Leaves Festival™, an historic festival in the heart of Mount Airy, NC. This nationally recognized event is unique with its mix of music, arts, crafts, and delicious food. There is something for everyone. People from all over the country and the local citizens flood the streets of Downtown Mount Airy during this 3-day fesitval.

You’ll find vendors with one-of-a-kind handcrafted items and foods that people wait all year to enjoy, must-see attractions, and some of the best musicians around. The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce invites you, your friends, and family to join in the tradition that is the Autumn Leaves Festival™. See you there.

Delicious Food

Food for the Soul. Ham biscuits, collards & cornbread, BBQ, hamburgers, ground steak, donuts, candy apples, and more - served with hospitality by local civic and community organizations.

Live Music

Showcasing rich musical heritage, with live Old-Time, Bluegrass, and Gospel music on the Bandstand (top of N Main St.) and Picker's Tent (Moore Ave). You're likely to find pop-up jams on the festival street as well. Feel free to bring your instrument!

Talented Artisans

Unique arts and hand crafted items of more than 200 craftsmen line the streets of Downtown Mount Airy. Many demonstrate talents and skills that are passed down through multiple generations.

Fun for the Kiddos

With DIY crafts, handmade toys and accessories, a Kidzone play area, and fun treats to try, the Autumn Leaves Festival is the place to create the best childhood memories.

Local Attractions & Activities

Local businesses and organizations showcase things like race cars and custom made motorcycles. There is also a cornhole tournament for all ages. The winner keeps the cornhole boards!

Small-Town Friendly Atmosphere

Experience the small-town friendly atmosphere of the Autumn Leaves Festival with a variety of good foods, good laughs, good music, and the rich history of the community.
